Christy Dernlan

With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, Christy brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for making meaningful connections with donors. Her love for national parks, deep appreciation for American history, and commitment to preserving our nation's natural and cultural heritage make her a perfect fit for VFPA. Prior to joining our team, Christy spent her career managing successful fundraising campaigns and special events for nonprofits in the Greater Philadelphia area. Christy lives in Oreland, PA, with her husband and three teenagers. In her free time, she enjoys reading classic novels, roaming the Wissahickon, and planning her next national park adventure.
