Andrew Kreider

Andrew grew up a few miles from Valley Forge, and has spent countless hours in the Park. His childhood included family walks along Valley Creek and winter sledding near the Maurice Stephens House, as well as “brutal” (his word) high school cross country running drills up Mount Misery. Over the past couple of decades, he has enjoyed finding “fairy stones” on Mount Joy with his daughter, poking around the Muhlenberg huts, and completing multi-mile hikes across the Park’s extensive trail network. Andrew is recently retired from the U.S. EPA after a lengthy career, has a decade of experience on local government environment and sustainability commissions, and now serves as the Communications Director for Chester County, PA.
